COVID-19 Update

Hello Reel Recovery Community.

We’re updating this information regarding our position on conducting our Retreats during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The health and safety of our participants, volunteers and staff has always been, and will always be our highest priority.

This is clearly a very fluid situation, changing daily, and our Staff, Board and Medical Advisors will be continually monitoring and re-assessing as needed, but as of today, March 30 our plan is as follows:

• • We have now cancelled all our April and May Retreats (11)
  • We have rescheduled Oklahoma and Kentucky, and are looking at new dates for New Jersey and Louisiana. Details are on our Schedule page: https://reelrecovery.org/programs/retreat-schedule/
  • Thankfully, we have been able to place most of our Spring applicants into Retreats in the Fall.
  • We will continue to accept participant applications for all remaining Retreats, with the understanding that additional cancellations may occur.
  • We are conducting a rolling assessment of our June and July Retreats, looking at a 45 to 60-day window for determining whether to cancel. All cancellations will be prior to 45-days in advance.
  • We will attempt to reschedule Retreats where possible and will update our website Schedule accordingly.
  • We have cancelled our annual Spring Fundraisers in Utah and Texas.

We will continue to post updates as events transpire. Thank you for your support during these challenging times. Our hearts are with all of you, especially our participants and volunteers, past and future, who are coping with cancer as well.
