First Ever New Jersey Retreat

As the saying goes, “Even a blind squirrel eventually finds an acorn”…That’s E.D. Stan Golub with participant Ed Castillo at our first-ever New Jersey Retreat with one of several “acorns” Buddy Stan found with Ed. The Retreat was held in the aptly named town of Hope, NJ, and we had a fantastic time fishing beautiful private waters on the Paulinskill River, thanks to Kurt Eichler, Michael Bateman and the River Club of New Jersey. This first NJ Retreat could not have gone better, and we are already looking forward to next year as we build our Program in the Northeast.

(ok, now for full disclosure – because of Ed’s restricted mobility due to his brain tumor, we let him use a spinning rod to catch this beauty and a dozen other fish, so no credit to his blind squirrel Buddy)
