Thoughts from a Participant

“! just returned from the Hope NJ Reel Recovery Retreat and I want to thank EVERYONE involved that made this trip one of the best experiences of my life. From our coordinator Grahame and his expert helpers, Wayne and Phil, to the staff at the Inn at Millrace Pond, and the Farm owners (Michael, Kurt and Don) where we fished, and all the fishing buddies, this was a lifetime memory.

I signed up to go on this retreat but was very hesitant from that moment on, but quickly, Grahame made me forget all my fears and I can’t fully describe what this meant to me. Thirteen other men, all with varying degrees of cancer, both active and in remission, all complete strangers but we all formed a bond that will keep us forever together.

This WAS the most satisfying experience I have had in my life. My only regret was it had to end!” Be Well! Fish On!
